my two cats and dog aren't getting along like I thought they would..?
I volunteer at an adoption agency called goodkitties.org and there were these two cats there named Jack and Dallas that I fell in love with. Their previous owners had two labs and small children and they claimed that they got along well with the dogs. So I adopted them both and took them home. First off, in the actual shelter the two cats didn't really get along even though they lived with each other for over 6 years. I thought the tight space was just making them irritable.
So when I took them home they seemed fine. It's now been a month later and they still kinda swipe at each other and they also dont like being near my dog, Kimber. Jack is the main one who does the "bullying" he'll hiss and swipe at Kimber and sometimes prevent her from coming back inside using the doggy door.
How can I get them to get along? Both cats are declawed so no one gets hurt but I just dont like my dog being bullied out of her own home 
if the cat is stilll alive ,then they are getting along just fine dont try to read into it too much
